I love walking in the meadow
When the sun begins to show…
To watch the dew drops sparkle
In the pink and lovely glow.

Do you think I’ll find a flower
That I missed yesterday?
Or will I find some other marvel
As I wander on my way?

I use this time so selfishly,
For to myself I talk….
And I ponder all the mysteries,
And the beauty of this spot
